Leadership Advisory Council
Executive Leadership Advisory Council (ELAC) Membership
The Institute for Economic Empowerment & Development is seeking members to join the Executive Leadership Advisory Council (ELAC) Membership which is open to active and retired executives who are committed to development and promotion of minorities into senior leadership positions.
ELAC members are expected to serve as advisors for the Emerging Professionals Program (EPP) candidate sponsors and mentors. Participating corporate executives and RIBBA selected council executives will coach and sponsor selected candidates who have demonstrated potential and performance in their education programs or in corporate or government positions. EPP candidates will complete a leadership development course prior to becoming Fellows.
ELAC member commitments will include quarterly council gatherings and scheduled meetings with EPP Fellows and corporate contacts. Based on best practices, ELAC members should seek to provide coaching, professional guidance and promote access and opportunities for EPP Fellows.
Interested executives should sign up by sending an email to Lisa@ri-bba.org or call 401-465-3669.
